This article will walk you through how to attach your work to an assignment and turn-in for your teacher. You turn-in work from your PC, tablet or even your phone. Check out the videos at the bottom of this article to see it in action.

Attaching your work

1. Click the View button on the assignment to see the Assignment Turn-in panel.

2. Along with the assignment details and any instructions your teacher has set, you will see a section called Your work to turn-in. This is where you can attach your work by clicking the Attach my work button.

If your teacher has already attached some documents or files to complete then take a look at this article.

3. When you click on the Attach my work button the Select Files panel will open. All of your online locations will be displayed first such as your Google Drive or Microsoft OneDrive depending on what your school uses. You can even create a new document or attach a link from an online app.

At the bottom of the Select Files panel, you can attach your work from your PC / Device such as your laptop, tablet or phone.

Click on a location to browse for the document or file you want to attach to your assignment. Let's take a look at different options availbe.

Attaching a file from your OneDrive or Google Drive

Click on the OneDrive or Google Drive button (depending on what your school uses) to browse your drive. You can click on a folder to open it and simply click on a file to select it. You can select even select multiple files too.

When you are finished selecting your document or file simply click the Attach button.

Attaching a file from your PC / Device

If you click on the Computer option this will allow you to select a file from your computer or device. You can either drag and drop a file or click on the text CLICK HERE TO SELECT A FILE. This will allow you to browse your computer or device to select the file you want to attach. 

Note: If you are using this option on a phone or tablet will also allow you to access your camera or photo stream where you could turn-in a photo of your work.

If you have completed your work using another app such as Prezi, Padlet or Animoto you can use the Link option in SchoolWise. All you need to do is simply copy the link and paste it into the URL box. Just make sure to give it a descriptive name for your teacher. This could be "Science Project" or "Poster Design". Once you are done click the Attach button to attach the link.

Adding a new Office or G Suite document

If you want to create a new document such as a Microsoft Word, Excel or PowerPoint or Google Docs, Sheets or Slides (depending on what your school uses) you can click on the New Document menu.

Just click on the type of document you want to create and give it a name. Simply click the Create button to start editing the document.

Note: The document will automatically save for you and will automatically be attached to the assignment.

Turn-in your assignment

1. Once you have selected your document or file it will appear under the section Your work to turn-in. You can add as many files as you like.

Once you have added all your files and click on the TURN IN button. This will send the work to your teacher and let them know that you have turned-in your assignment.
