If you need to build a follow on unit from an existing one, sometimes its helpful to make a copy of the existing unit. This way you can make the necessary changes without modifying the original unit of learning. Copying a unit saves you time by having a starting point to build on. Let's take a look how you can copy a unit.

1. Click on the unit of learning that you want to copy

2. The Copy Unit button is located on the bottom left. Click this button to copy the unit of learning.

3. You will then see the copied unit in your list. The copied unit will be first in the list as it will not have a year or duration.

4. You can now click on the unit of learning to set these along with making any changes. Click Update to save your new unit.
