At the start of the academic year, you will likely have a brand new list of class groups. This depends on your MIS system, as SchoolWise gets this list from your current timetable. The previous year's data is all still there, and this article shows you how to migrate that data to the new group.
All your assessment data (assignments and gradebook) is already migrated for you. This lives in your Gradebook. You can view it by clicking here. You simply use the timeline button to set it to last year.
How to migrate your posts and documents to a new class group
Open the new class group. Click on the Migrate Group Data button on the top right of your screen. This will display the Migrate Group Data modal.
Select the previous group from the drop-down list that you want to migrate from. Then click on the Migrate Group Data button. This is a one-time-only operation and cannot be reversed, so make sure you carefully select the correct group from the drop-down list.
You will then see your posts from the previous year appear in the new class group. Your documents will also have moved to the Group Documents screen too.
