Create a shortcut for SchoolWise

If you use a browser to access SchoolWise, we have outlined the steps below to help make opening the platform a breeze!


Creating a desktop shortcut

Creating a shortcut means that you can easily access SchoolWise even if you do not have your browser already open or the platform open. This makes accessing SchoolWise first thing in the morning simple.

Chrome

  1. Sign in to your SchoolWise platform

  2. Click on the menu with the 3 dots on the top right of your browser

  3. Click on the "Cast, save and share" menu option

  4. Finally, click on the "Create shortcut..." button

  5. You can then give the shortcut a name and click "Create"

Edge

  1. Sign in to your SchoolWise platform

  2. Click on the menu with the 3 dots on the top right of your browser

  3. Click on the "More tools" menu option

  4. Finally, click on the "Pin to taskbar" button

  5. Click "Yes" to the confirmation if you are asked


Add a bookmark to your browser

If you prefer to have a bookmark in your browser just follow the steps below.

Chrome

  1. Sign in to your SchoolWise platform

  2. Click the Star icon at the end of the address bar

  3. Give your bookmark a name such as "SchoolWise"

  4. Click the Done button to finish

  5. Your bookmark is now available

Note: if you do not see the bookmarks bar, click on the menu with the 3 dots on the top right, click on "Bookmarks and lists", and then click, "Show the bookmarks bar"

Edge

  1. Sign in to your SchoolWise platform

  2. Click the Star icon at the end of the address bar

  3. Give your bookmark a name such as "SchoolWise"

  4. Click the Done button to finish

  5. Your bookmark is now available

Note: if you do not see the bookmarks bar, click on the menu with the 3 dots on the top right, click on "Settings", and then click, "Appearance". Scroll down and click on the "Toolbar" option. Here you can set the "Favorites" bar to "Always".
