Using the class group activity journal to communicate with your learners

The Group Activity Journal is a great classroom tool to communicate with your learners and can be used for a variety of uses. You can post things like updates, homework, photos and whiteboard screenshots, website links right down to learning resources and other attachments.

In this article, we are going to show you how to post some basic text to help communication with your learners

1. Navigate to your Class Group by selecting it from the My Groups menu

2. When you view a Class Group you will first see the Group Activity page where the Journal is displayed. Any previous posts will also be displayed.

3. Click on the Journal to start typing the message you want to share with your learners. You can use the editor toolbar to format your text or highlight important items. Once you are done click the Share button.

This message is now displayed to your learners and it will also be included in the daily email.
